Madam Josephine Asante, Marketing and Public Affairs Manager at Ghana Ports and Habour Authority (GPHA), was murdered in cold blood under strange circumstances on the midnight of 12th January, 2019 at her residence in Tema Community 25.
It is not immediately known who the murders are or why they did what they did, but her 12 year old son who was at home during the attack has made some shocking revelations.
According to her son (name withheld), the criminals did not take anything from the room of his mother. Her phones, laptops, jewelry and other accessories were all left intact although they were exposed in the room.
He made this revelation when General Manager in charge of Administration at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority Sandra Opoku visited the home of the slain manager to commiserate with the bereaved family.
Preliminary investigations from the police also seem to suggest that the victim could have been raped by her assailants before she was killed, as some sperms were found in the pelvic region of the corpse.
“There was also a fresh cut on the right eyebrow and a suspected bullet hole at the back of her head”, the report added.
Madam Josephine Asante of Tema Ports was trailed by some men after a Senior staff party into her home at Community 25 in Tema where they broke into her bedroom and murdered her with a knife.
So far, her houseboy, Christian Agyei has been arrested after admitting that he buried a wristwatch belonging to the deceased, together with 340 cedis behind the window of the boys’ quarters where he sleeps. He will assist in investigations till the puzzle is solved.
