Radio Personality and host of Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Andy Dosty, has stated that he has forgiven award winning artiste, Shatta Wale for everything he (Shatta) has done to him.
It will be recalled that Andy Dosty, during one of his morning shows, solicited for people’s views on Shatta Wale’s tweet that Ghanaian youth are not making money because they are lazy. Shatta Wale however did not take it lightly as he went ahead to insult Andy on twitter.
Andy Dosty, obviously hurt, then recounted everything he has done for Shatta Wale and how he thinks he’s now big so he is repaying him with insults.
“I was that gentleman who came to Accra, took his CDs, went to Kumasi to share among radio stations and presenters; it was me. I drove around in Kumasi; my car, my fuel, showing him that love. Telling people there is a new kid on the block. I created a monster,” he stated.
But in a new twist, Andy has decided to let bygones be bygones. During the MTN Music Festival on Tuesday, March 5, the official DJ for the night, Andy, made a statement before dropping one of Shatta’s hit songs, My Level.
He said, “I know there have been some issues between me and a certain gentleman, well I want you to do me this favour, please tell that gentleman that I have forgiven him.”
Andy has explained in an interview on 3FM that he bears no malice whatsoever against the musician and has taken his post as one of the usual jokes he shares with the musician. This is because they had a good relationship until he saw a video posted by Shatta Wale of an SM fan insulting him (Andy Dosty).
“There was a video of someone insulting me left, right and centre that he (Shatta Wale) has posted. That was when I saw the intensity of the matter,” Andy Dosty revealed.
