Disappointing Miss Black Africa and Miss Black Africa Awards Press Re-launch

The Press re-launch for the Miss Black Beauty Africa and Black Beauty Africa Awards took place in Accra on Friday 14th December 2018.

The event which happened at the African Regent Hotel was supposed to start at 8:00pm with a Red Carpet event 30 minutes earlier. However, the founder and CEO of Miss Black Beauty Africa and Black Beauty  Awards, Zino Lexili Ogazi arrived at the auditorium at approximately 9:20pm with an annoying standing ovation. The event then started an hour and a half late.

As courtesy was not observed, Zino Lexili Ogazi started addressing the press without any apology and that pushed me to raise my hand for the mic after which told her that “I have one or two issues to address. Since the program is to celebrate African excellence, don’t you think you are defeating the purpose by starting late? And you did not apologize to us so I demand an a apology from you”. Zino then responded by apologizing.
