Dancehall act Stonebwoy has stated that he doesn’t owe Vacs [producer of “Mane Mi” beat] anything including money or appreciation.
The “Top Skanka” hitmaker also made it clear that he doesn’t understand why the producer would even go round accusing him of not making payments for the beat because he (Vacs) even thanked him for using the beat and making the song popular.
Stonebwoy was on the Day Break Hitz show on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty and state that he “didn’t come to your studio to take any beats from you. You even sent me a message on Instagram, thanking me for even voicing on your rhythm, thanking me for putting it on my album and making it a big song so how then does it become all of a sudden I owe you…some people [are] saying he was going to drag me to court.”
It will be recalled that somewhere in October, Vacs revealed that he had tried getting to Stonebwoy and his management on several occasions, all to no avail.
He later came out to allege on instagram that Stonebwoy had unfollowed him on social media after failing to pay him for the song.
He wrote “I produced hit record for you; one of the biggest songs on the album. Pay me [rather you] go unfollow me lol…Gh Producers we for change this… We need to eat too because we do [did] about 70% of the magic,” he said.
But reacting further to the allegations, Stonebwoy said that he didn’t unfollow the product but his social media manger rather did. He added that “If I unfollow you, how does it hurt you? “If you demand anything, you should come well,”
