I will never go to Kuami Eugene, KiDi and King Promise for a collaboration – Kwadee

                  Okomfo Kwadee

Veteran hiplife artiste Okomfo Kwadee has stated that even though he has had calls to feature the current new kids on the block KiDi, Kuami Eugene and King Promise in a track, he has never given it a second thought.

Okomfo Kwadee said that because of his legendary status, it is prudent that these young ones rather approach him for the collaborations.

Kwadee was speaking in an interview on showbiz where he said “I know Ghanaians will say the likes of Kuami Eugene, King Promise, KiDi and Kwesi Arthur are the ones trending but I don’t see myself doing any collaboration with them. Rather they should come to me”.

“Kwadee has paid his dues in the music industry and anyone who knows music can tell that I don’t need hype from anyone to do good songs. Chiefs and prominent people listen to my music, hence the reason why everyone loves Kwadee’s music”, he added.

Kwadee acknowledged that he has been told to change his style but insisted that he will remain original because that’s who he is.

“I have had people telling me to change my style but that is not going to happen because I am unique. Other artistes have tried to copy my style because I made a great impact with my music. I don’t follow trends and that is why I have massive support”.

He added that because he stands for quality which is glaringly missing in the music industry currently, he is very positive that he will succeed.
