Meet this young beautiful woman, Audrey Esi Swatson who has made history by becoming Ghana’s youngest female pilot.
Audrey who hails from Saltpond was born on the 23rd February,1997 in Accra. She grew up dreaming of becoming either a pilot or an athlete for Ghana.
This interest began when she joined the University of Ghana Basic Schools – Legon for her basic education and had her secondary education at the Ghana Christian International High School, Dodowa.
After sitting for WASSCE in 2015, she had admission at Mach1 Aviation Academy in South Africa to pursue a pilot training course. She had her first solo flight on the 4th of April, 2019 at age 19 during her flight training, a very special day in the life of every pilot. This also came along with her private pilot license.
Audrey is now 21 years old and has received some offers from certain airline operators. But according to her, she is yet to decide where she wants to begin her career. She had a chat with Multimedia’s Afia Amankwah Tamaklo.
