The NPP Honourable Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, Lydia Seyram Alhassan has visited the men who were injured by the pockets of violence that occurred during the by-election that saw her emerge as the winner. 

Madam Lydia visited the 37 Military hospital with some leading members of the ruling NPP including their National Organizer, Sammy Awuku and the Deputy Information Minister Pius Enam Hadzide.

During her visit, she commiserated with the victims and wished them speedy recovery. 

She also donated an amount of GH¢5,000 towards the up keep of the victims. 

Ms. Lydia Seyram Alhassan was unfortunately tagged as a “bloody widow” during her swearing into office by the minority in parliament yesterday. But in a posture of disapproval, many people have condemned that tag placed on Ms. Lydia by the NDC minority in parliament.
