Shatta Wale’s “Ghana is a village” comment pops up in UDS end of year exam

Shatta Wale’s description of Ghana as a village received mixed reactions with some agreeing with him and others feeling that he disrespected his country of birth.

Whatever the case may be, Shatta Wale’s influence in the music industry cannot be denied. Well, he has also made it into academia as well, as his comment has been used in one exam question in the University for Development Studies’s ongoing end of semester examination.

In the second year “Department of Environment and Resource Studies” exam paper, students were asked to “state 5 relevant reasons why Shatta Wale described the whole of Ghana as a village”.
