One of the biggest advocators for the legalization of marijuana in Ghana, Blakk Rasta, has re-hammered his call for the process to be hastened, as it will help raise the fortunes of Ghana in terms of foreign exchange.
The TV/Radio Personality was one of the first people to start the calls for the legalization of weed, and his position was recently supported by other celebrated Ghanaians including the late former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan.
In a recent video uploaded by the ‘Barack Obama’ hitmaker on instagram, he gently explained why he believes that Ghana should legalize weed. According to him, we could make so much from it as a revenue source yet we’re dragging our feet.
Blakk Rasta also slammed Africans for always dragging their feet, thereby making us late to something good, referring to how many countries the world over have legalized the drug and are benefiting from it.
“Africans we like to eat from the crumbs of the table, we don’t like to eat the main food,” he said. “When people have eaten and left then we go for the crumbs.”
