Zylofon FM and TV closed down “temporarily” after EOCO ordered the freezing of all of Nana Appiah Mensah’s assets

In a press release from Zylofon Media and in compliance with a media release from the Economic and Organized Crime Office confirming a court order to freeze all assets belonging to NAM 1, Zylofon FM and TV are suspending their operations, effective today 30th January, 2019. 

This was made public in a letter signed by Samuel Atuobi Baah, Communications Manager at Zylofon FM/TV with heading “NOTICE TO SUSPEND OPERATIONS AT ZYLOFON FM AND TV”.

The letter stated that it was acting based on a court order to have all of Nana Appiah Mensah’s assets frozen. 

The statement added that “Being a law abiding entity, we expect that due process be facilitated to restore sanity”.

EOCO secured a court order to confiscate all assets belonging to embattled businessman Nana Appiah Mensah. This is to enable the government sell off these property and use the proceeds to pay off customers of Menzgold whose investments were locked up in the gold dealership firm.
