Accra Court orders Asamoah Gyan to use Gifty‘s current name, instead of her maiden name in his divorce application form

            Asamoah and Gifty Gyan

Skipper of the Black Stars of Ghana Asamoah Gyan and his lawyers have been ordered by the Accra Court, where application for the annulment of his marriage is going on, to amend the name of his wife on the application form from her maiden name Gifty Oware to Gifty Gyan.

Gyan and Gifty have been married for 5 years and have decided to annul their marriage due to infidelity issues. And in the application form for annulment of the marriage, Asamoah Gyan referred to his wife by her maiden name (Gifty Oware). However, the court found it insulting to the image of the couple because they have been together since they first met over 15 years ago.
