A disappointed customer of struggling gold dealership company Menzgold Ghana Limited got arrested by the Police after he allegedly threatened the CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah.
The man in question, Nana Kissi, was picked up and taken to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) headquarters before receiving bail on the 6th of January, 2020.
Nana Kissi allegedly made those threats at NAM1 while speaking on Accra-based Adom FM.
The spokesperson for the aggrieved Menzgold customers, Frederick Forson confirmed his arrest.
Explaining what happened at the CID Headquaters on Citi FM, Frederick said; “According to him [Nana Kissi], he was questioned about the part of the audio in which he said we know NAM 1’s house and his wives house”.
“But for us as customers, we are not going to intimidated by some of these things; because at the end of the day, it is our money that we want”.
Menzgold has made headlines in the past months following the company’s issues with some state regulatory bodies over their operations.
Currently, the company has been ceased from operating; and several customers are demanding for a refund of their investments.
