Highlife musician, Akosua Agyapong had to abandon her home together with her family after she received death treats on Tuesday evening.
Narrating her ordeal, Akosua said that her house help drew her attention to an inscription on her wall around 2:30 pm. The inscription on the wall of her Kasoa Tuba read “I will kill Akosua Agyapong; she will die this evening.” She immediately reported the matter to the Tuba Police. She was then advised not to sleep in the house that night.
She even got more terrified after noticing that the bolts and knots on her car had been loosened.
She was speaking on Adom FM‘s Dwaso Nsem show, Wednesday morning, where she further revealed that her personal assistant also got a call from an unknown person who threatened to silence the entire family.
According to Akosua Agyapong, she doesn’t have anyone in mind who would want her dead. However, she believes that her recent criticisms of the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) might have something to do with the death threats.
It will be recalled that Akosua Agyapong labeled the entire executive body of GHAMRO including her former group member Rex Omar as highly corrupt.
