Akufo-Addo reopens drinking spots in the country after coming to our homes on his 14th address

The president of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the reopening of drinking spots and pubs amidst the dreaded COVID-19 era.

It will be recalled that the president announced restrictions on March 15th and extended it on April 26th this year making the wearing of masks mandatory for all Ghanaians as the novel virus peaks in the country.

The pandemic has gone a long way to seize many activities in the world from academic classes, border closure, sporting activities and any form of social gathering.

The pandemic has so far taken away 153 souls from 30366 with 26687 recoveries since the novel virus found its way through the Ghanaian borders early this year.

However, Ghana’s constitution and Judiciary has provided the need for mass new voters’ registration in the build-up to the 2020 General elections.

All final year students from Junior High School to University have been given the opportunity to go back to school, study and sit for their final year exams despite the threats the disease poses to the general public.
