Baretto unfazed by Gama’s absence against Olympics

Asante Kotoko head coach, Mariano Baretto has quashed claims that his team will be deficient against in-form Great Olympics in the absence of Brazilian talisman Fabio Gama.

In a pre-match press briefing on Ceek, the former Black Stars trainer noted that every player in the porcupine warriors set up is important to his course and can’t single out any player as the orchestra of the team.

“Everyone is important in this team. I can’t nominate one {and} the most important is the team.

“We will start with our best eleven {against Olympics} so whoever starts the match will give the best to keep the chance to play. I think this is the way,” he intimated.

Fabio Gama is ineligible for the crunch encounter against the ‘wonder’ club in the capital following his accumulation of three yellow cards.

The former Botafogo SP star has so far recorded two goals and three assists for the red army sending them to the summit of the table with 34 points after 19 round of matches.
