An order has been issued by an Accra Circuit Court for the immediate arrest of all Directors of embattled gold dealership company Menzgold Ghana.
The warrant with warrant numbers 01/19, 02/19,03/19 and 04/19 was signed and handed over to the police some hours ago for the arrest of the four main directors of Menzgold namely Nana Appiah Mensah, Rose Tetteh, Benedicta Appiah and Abigail Mensah.
According to the warrant, the police are to locate and arrest these four individuals immediately.
Some other three names appeared on the warrant document. They are listed on the registration documents of Menzgold Ghana as Directors and are also relatives of NAM1, the brain behind Menzgold.
Per the warrant documents, they have been accused of “Defrauding by false pretense contrary to section 131 of 29/60” for which reason they are wanted.
The warrant further stated that “You are hereby ordered in the name of the President forthwith to apprehend the said Nana Appiah Mensah and produce him before court”.
Close sources inside the Ghana Immigration Service have revealed that they have also been ordered to be on the lookout for any of these persons at all the entry and exit points of Ghana.
However, Nana Appiah Mensah is believed to have escaped to South Africa with his wife after escaping bail. The other two directors, Benedicta Appiah and Abigail Mensah are still in Ghana and getting ready to run away too.
Rose Tetteh is Nana Appiah Mensah’s wife whilst Abigail Mensah and Benedicta Appiah are his younger sisters.
