Bizarre: Ghana Premier League side, Techiman Eleven Wonders transported to training via truck

The pride of Techiman in the Ghana premier league, Eleven Wonders have set tongues wagging after a picture of players and coaches being transported via a truck surfaced online.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has a conscious agenda to #bringbackthelove of Ghana football but this bizarre situation certainly can’t be encouraged as the patronage of the local league is at its all-time low.

Coach Ignatius Osei Fosu appears to be occupying the front seat with 10 other players sitting at the back of the truck plying a rough road to training.

It will be recalled that six young footballers lost their lives in an accident because of an insensitive mode of transport by the colts club just last year on their return from Akomadan in the Ashanti Region after a registration process.

Techiman Eleven Wonders is widely known for its unprofessional approach to matters of football especially when it comes to branding of the team. A team that wears an unknown brand plus Nike socks for matches has no shame at all.

An inquiry by our news desk from the leadership of the club about its unknown brand of jersey indicates that the team’s jersey to be used for the 2020/2021 season has not arrived yet hence their decision to use this shameful jersey for premier league matches.
