The organiser of the Dancehall King Battle between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has cleared the air over some lies told by the latter that he won the title as the ’baddest’ artiste in 2010 at Labadi.
According to Billy Jane in a Facebook post, she didn’t sign the certificate to crown any of the two as the Dancehall King but rather, the MC announced Stonebwoy as the winner without her consent when she went inside her office to bring out the certificate.
She further explained that it was a draw competition and no one emerged as a winner because they wanted some female acts to battle before the final competition to choose between Shatta and Stone.
Below is a full statement from Billy Jane…
During the program so many artists pass through the show And then we selected Stonebwoy and Shatta wale to battle and they were draw draw and I ask them to hold on so the female artist to pass through before we call them for the final battle before we selected the king.
During that time I went to the office and brought the certificate out so we was looking for the winner before we can endorse the certificate but before I came back from the office someone have somotage by telling the MC to menting the winner.
The the winnner in my back where by there is a last battle they have to battle so I want to tell the GH that the two boys was draw draw and since the certificate was not signed because someone sabotage the program that 2010 the final judgement that they have have to choose the Winner that very day.
I invest so much money into the program for the program to be successful for me to be happy but Those people use always go underground to spoil program to stop and to tell the G H that all the two boys are kings
