CAF Exco Election: Kurt’s withdrawal was not influenced by any powerful force – Sannie Darra

Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku emerges winner of the GFA Presidential Election

Communication team member of the Confederation of African Football [Caf], Ibrahim Sannie Darra has disclosed that the decision taken by GFA President to withdraw his candidacy from the CAF Executive Committee elections was in the best interest of the entire football family.

According to the former communications director of GFA, people shouldn’t underrate Kurt, because he took the decision in the interest of the entire football family and his decision was to foster a unity base in the region particularly, West Africa.

“Kurt is a stubborn cat, he took the decision based on his own conviction and not the influence of anyone” he asserted.

“On the floor of Congress, Andrew Ndanga Kamanga from Zambia and Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku were the individuals who delivered speeches and FIFA President Gianni Infantino, was impressed with Kurt’s speech.

“Congress members stood up and applauded him after the speech which clearly shows a lot of signs, God’s time is the best and President Kurt will not decide due to someone’s influence”. He concluded in an interview with PJ Mozee on Nhyira FM.
