Kumasi Asante Kotoko was in Kenya over the weekend to play Kenyan club Kariobangi Sharks FC in the CAF Confederations Cup match and they held the home team to a goalless draw.
The results look very positive for the Porcupine Warriors as they will have their full home support in the return leg which will take place this weekend.
But there was a downside from their trip to Kenya. There are reports circulating on social media that the playing body actually stole face towels from the hotel they lodged in.
In a Tweet, the celebrated Sports journalist Saddick Obama welcomed the club back to Ghana and revealed that the club’s CEO, George Amoako told him that he was notified by the hotel they lodged in that some items were missing.
And according to management of City Lodge Hotel, the missing items were mere face towels.
