Ghanaian socialite and slay queen Efia Odo has called on religious bodies across the country to give back to the society in the back of the coronavirus outbreak.
In a tweet, Efia Odo stated that times like these are great times where big churches and mosques have the opportunity to give back to the society that has contributed in making them how big they are.
Efia Odo further stated that these churches and mosques should make their premises available to street kids and any homeless person during the fumigation exercise.
According to her, these homeless individuals can be released when the whole exercise is done.
Authorities in Accra closed down about 137 markets in the capital city today 23rd March, 2020 to fumigate these markets in a bid to control the spread of the dreaded coronavirus disease.
Ghana at the moment has confirmed 24 cases of coronavirus with one death; a 61-year-old Lebanese businessman who resides in Kumasi.
