This fasting and prayer session has become necessary as a result of the outbreak of the dreaded coronavirus disease in the country.

The President on Saturday 21st March 2020 declared today as a National Day of Fasting and Prayer for both Christians and Muslims to pray for God to alleviate the coronavirus spread in the country.

Ghana’s current confirmed cases of coronavirus stands at 53 with 2 deaths.

Prayer points were released yesterday to guide both Muslims and Christians on how to go about their prayer.

We would like to encourage Ghanaians to continue to observe measures put in place by the Ministry of Health to curb the spread of the disease amongst the populace.

May the God of Israel who delivered them from the hands of their enemies also deliver us from coronavirus.
