CORONAVIRUS: Ghana’s confirmed cases rises to 52 cases; will Ghana lock down?

Ghana has confirmed an additional 25 cases of the dreaded coronavirus infection in the country as announced by the Ministry of Health.

This is an almost 100% rise in the already 27 cases with 2 deaths so far.

According to the ministry, the additional 25 cases were gotten from the Ghanaians who recently arrived at the airport and went under mandatory quanrantine.

These Ghanaians arrived from different countries that have recorded high numbers of the coronavirus infection. As a mandatory measure, these Ghanaians numbering over 1030 were quarantined.

A total of 185 of them were tested for coronavirus and 25 turned out positive.

Just imagine if they had been left to go to their homes; there would have been a sure case of community infection.

At the moment, Ghana is strengthening measures she has put in place to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Two deaths have been confirmed and we are just praying that God will answer our prayers as the nation fasts and prays tomorrow.
