CORONAVIRUS: Tomorrow is National Day of Fasting and Prayers

The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared tomorrow 25th March 2020 as a National Day of Fasting and Prayers.

Addressing the nation on Saturday 21st March 2020 on measures put in place by the nation to curb the spread of coronavirus, the President announced the closure of Ghana’s air, land and sea borders and declared that the nation needs to fast and pray.

Hence, Wednesday will be put aside for both Christians and Muslims to pray and fast for Ghana as we battle the dreaded coronavirus infection.

In lieu of this, we will urge each and every Ghanaian to make themselves available for the spritual exercise and pray that Ghana is spared any major crisis in this trying period.

Ghana has since confirmed 52 cases of the dreaded coronavirus disease with 2 deaths.
