Known Shatta Movement fan and controversial host of sports show Fire 4 Fire, Countryman Songo, has added his voice to the chaos that happened last Saturday during the VGMAs.
During an interview on Ekosisen on Multimedia’s Asempa FM, Countryman Songo acknowledged the role that Shatta Wale played in reviving the music industry which collapsed sometime back.
According to him, it got to a time where only Nigerian songs were played on our airwaves or during occasions.
But because one man (Shatta Wale) rose up to change the status-quo, some other people, out of envy have decided to fight and backbite him.
He hit at Stonebwoy’s manager for resisting Shatta Wale and his boys from getting on stage. According to him, that is where everything began.
Countryman believes that Blakk Cedi should have been professional enough; he should have spoken with Shatta Wale to find out why he was approaching the stage.
He also addressed the fact that Ghanaians are threating Stonebwoy with soft blows after pulling a gun on stage.
He said “If Shatta Wale had pulled the gun on stage, Ghanaians would have crucified him outright because he has already been tagged as the ‘black sheep’ of the music industry.
