COVID-19: Police to begin arresting people who step out without putting on a nose mask – Minister Of Health

Ghana’s Minister of Health, Dr Kwaku Agyemang Manu has stated that Government is putting things in order; and will soon authorize the Police begin arresting people who are still refusing to wear a nose Masks.

The Minister was speaking during a Press briefing organized by the Ministry of Information to address journalists. The Press briefing was put together to update the media on issues concerning the country’s management of COVID-19.

The Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah lso disclosed that government is almost done with legal details which will give the needed powers to the Police to enforce this directive.

Ghana currently has confirmed 5,530 cases of COVID-19 with 674 recoveries and 24 deaths.
