Tema-based business tycoon and patron of Asante Kotoko National Circles Council, David Serebour Boateng has given a seed money of 10,000 Cedis to be used to purchase or develop a software that will be used to mobilise supporters across the country and beyond.
In an interview on Accra based radio station Asempa FM, with Kojo Mensah Moshoosho, the former management member couldn’t hide his excitement over the appointment of the brainy football administrator, Nana Yaw Amponsah who lost out on the GFA presidential race about a year ago.
Nana Yaw Amponsah’s appointment has been officially unveiled today at the Sport Hotel in Kumasi upon weeks of search for a modern-day football administrator who will steer the day-to-day affairs of the club to be able to compete for laurels on the continent and also be run as a corporate entity.
It is in this regard that mobilisation of supporters will become necessary for the new Chief Executive who has promised to find a database of the supporters in order to use it as a bait to lure sponsors to the club.
Nana Yaw Amponsah will be required to form a management team who understands how football is run in this modern era.
