Former National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Wofa Yaw Boateng Gyan has revealed a long-standing family secret of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The president as part of his One District One Factory Policy, today unveiled the first set of cars produced by German manufacturing company Volkswagen in Accra. The models being assembled are Tiguan, Teramont, Amarok, Caddy, Polo and Passat.
According to Yaw Boateng Gyan on Okay FM with Afia Pokua on Monday night, snippets of information he has suggests that Nana Addo’s father, Edward Akufo-Addo had Shares in Volkswagen and Peugeot but it is still unconfirmed.
However, he noted that if they are able to ascertain the truth of the information then that will be an extension of the family’s business, but was quick to warn that if it happens to be true then they (NDC) will subject it to proper scrutiny.
Meanwhile, the Nana Akufo-Addo has ordered all state ministries under his administration to patronize indigenous cars from Katanka Automobile, a company owned by Apostle Kojo Sarfo of the Kristo Asafo Mission.
