It is a very common thing that pregnant women who are rich enough travel to the United States of America to give birth as this gives their kids automatic entitlement to citizenship. And many Ghanaian female celebs travel to the US or Canada or the U.K. to give birth.

Donal Trump has complained about this practice in the past and the U.S State Department have now implemented new rules to stop the practice.

Parts of a new press release from the State Department reads; “Visitors to the US will be denied temporary visas if it’s found that the primary purpose of travel is for obtaining US citizenship for a child by giving birth in the United States”.
