Ghanaian rapper Edem has followed the footsteps of Ghana’s music industry pace setter Shatta Wale to keep his fans entertained by organizing an online concert. This move is to help suppress the boredom associated with the self-isolation as a result of the novel coronavirus outbreak in Ghana.
The musician has announced that he will, on Sunday, March 29, hold a live streaming concert dubbed “The Anticorona Concert” on social media.
The concert is set to be held indoors with a few instrumentalists in accordance with the government’s directive on social gathering and will stream on Facebook and YouTube.
He added that it is also an effort to help curb the spread of coronavirus.
“It’s to entertain fans in the comfort of their homes and also remind them to stay safe and practice all measures that can help us curb the spread,” he disclosed in a press release.
Edem further revealed that the concert will be interactive as his fans will be allowed to ask questions during the live session which will last an hour.
“A very exciting and interactive performance because they can still ask questions during the live show.”
Fans can join the fun by following Edem on Facebook (@EdemVRMG) and subscribe to his YouTube channel (@EdemOnTV).
