Ghanaian hiplife artiste Ayigbe Edem has claimed that all artistes in Ghana are hungry as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic which led to the ban on social gatherings.
Edem took to Twitter to express this sentiment in the wake of discussions as to how the Ghanaian music industry can jawjaw to see how they can diversify their sources of income and ensure a better future for themselves when they finally give way for another generation.
According to Edem, it is time they speak up so that the whole world knows how the system the entertainment industry is running on has lapses.
The President placed a ban on all social gatherings including church activities and political rallies in a bid to curb the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus disease which is causing a lot of havoc the world over.
Edem was with colleague musicians Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy the previous day to discuss the way forward for the music industry.
