French investigators release CAF President Ahmad Ahmad after failing to charge him

CAF President Mr. Ahmad Ahmad has been released by French judicial authorities in Paris without filling any charges against him.

He was accused of contract fraud, mismanagement of CAF funds, and the payment of US$ 20,000 sums directly into the private bank accounts of federation presidents.

According to a French journal, Jeune Afrique, the authorizes questioned Ahmad about allegations that CAF unilaterally broke a contract with German sports merchandise giant Puma, before signing a merchandise deal with a French supplier.
