Evangelist Peter Abbam, founder of the Foot of God Chapel/gospel musician has lambasted the current crop of gospel musicians.

The evangelist was speaking in a interview with Zion Felix when he stated that “most of the current gospel musicians do not qualify to have the title on them because they have turned away from the right way of doing music”. He added that gospel music is supposed to be an exaltation of the maker.

He charged these musicians to go back and listen to the songs from greats like Mark Abraham and try to reproduce such songs that glorify God.

Evangelist Peter also stated categorically that several female musicians currently are more than Jezebels. He tagged them like this because of the way they live their lives. He stated that it’s totally bad and does not fit people who call themselves ministers.

According to him, the way they dress, the application of heavy makeups, leaving their marriages are a few examples of things they do which makes them unqualified to be called gospel musicians.
