The Normalization Committee met with clubs administrators at the Alisa hotel on Friday 19 October, 2018 to dialogue on issues affecting Ghana football and when the committee inquired from the clubs whether they should be allowed to participate in CAF competitions, the club administrators unanimously agreed that they (clubs) should not be allowed to participate in CAF competitions.
Some years ago, Ghanaian clubs had four slots in all CAF competitions but due to poor performances on the part of these Ghanaian representatives, we lost two slots. If no Ghanaian club participates in CAF competitions next season, there is no doubt that Ghana will loose another slot.
