The most successful nation in African Women’s Cup of Nations history is Nigeria after winning the tittle for a record 10 times and they will have a chances at an eleventh title this Saturday when they face off with the Bayana Bayana’s of South Africa. 

They however didn’t have a roller coaster ride to the final as they had to win a penalty shootout against tough skinned Cameroon to make it to the final. And one player that made a significant contribution in taking the Super Falcons of Nigeria to the final was their goalkeeper Oluehi Tochukwu. She saved two penalties which ensured that Nigeria won the shootout by 4 goals to 2.

During a post match interview, she was asked if they practiced penalty shootouts in the training session to which she responded that they have had only one training session on penalties. 

She however added that for her, it is a gift from God.

Nigeria will be playing in the finals on Saturday 1st December, 2018.
