Plans are far advanced by the Government of Ghana to relaunch the collapsed national airline carrier according to information societywatch.net is receiving.
In a bid to relaunch Ghana Airways, the government will purchase 3 fuel-efficient 787-9 Dreamline aeroplanes.
This was contained in a tweet on the official handle of Boeing company. And according to the tweet, they announced a letter of intent for the airplanes during a ceremony at the Dubai Air Show today. The statement initially stated that they are honored and are willing to provide the best of services to the government and people of Ghana.
Their tweet reads; “Honored that the Republic of Ghana has selected the fuel-efficient 787-9 #Dreamliner to help relaunch their airline….”.

The President, Nana Akuffo Addo led government, as part of his campaign message before the 2016 General Election, promised Ghanaians that they will do all in their power to get Ghana a national carrier as the former carrier, Ghana Airways, collapsed due to poor management.
