The Vice Chairman of the Progressive People’s Party for New Juaben Mr. Ebenezer Yankson has called on Human Right Advocates to wake up, and act on the ongoing problem at Libya.
According to him, Libyans are known for discriminating against dark skinned individuals despite the fact that they are also Africans.
He mentioned that he was once a victim of the bad treatment meted out to Ghanaians and blacks who travel to Libya to seek greener pastures.
Mr.Yankson said this happened in 2006 when he was was arrested he was mistaken for a terrorist because a foreign currency was found on him.
Mr Ebenezer Yankson, speaking in interview with Kingdom FM at Koforidua advised Ghanaians to be cautious of the places they travel to for greener pastures as some countries are not hospitable.
