Ghana’s only Mobo award winner, Samini has found himself in a trouble more than he anticipated for attacking his protege, Stonebwoy and his fans prior to the Asaase soundclash against Shatta Wale.
Samimi in a series of tweets and videos poured out his frustration at Stonebwoy for not officially informing him about the ’deadly clash’ against his bitterest rival Charles Nii-Armah Mensah the ”1 Don” in order to bless him before the musical battle.
According to Samini, he’s been attacked for years by Shatta Wale who used him (Samini) as a ladder to climb to fame after he (Shatta Wale) went on hibernation close to 10 years but Stonebwoy failed to lobby for him as a son to settle scores with Bandana, on who is the baddest in terms of dancehall music.
However, it seems the Linda hitmaker used the wrong approach as Stonebwoy replied him, labelling his godfather as ungrateful for all the acknowledgements he’s given him though he genuinely didn’t deserve all the accolades and recognition given him over the years.
Stonebwoy’s public declaration has had a telling effect on Samini’s brand as he’s failed to earn the needed number of views for his new single ”forever” on YouTube if his number of years in the industry is anything to go by.
Per our checks on Youtube, Samini made only 5.2k views in a matter of 6 hours which is drastically low for an artiste of his calibre. The likes of AY Poyoo, Bosom P-Yung, Fameye and co have surpassed those figures with the same number of minutes.
Watch the video below and let’s help our legend Samini to make some strides on YouTube.
