The ”Astalavista” hitmaker has rallied for support from her industry colleagues, urging them to put all their differences aside and fight the system to show how powerful they are as entertainers.

It all started with the FDA ”Guidelines for the Advertisement of Foods.” Section 148 of the Public Health Act, 2012 (Act 851) which gives the FDA the power to make guidelines. So, the guidelines are not mere guides but have the force of the law.

As if this is enough, the Gaming Commission has also banned all celebrities from endorsing any form of betting henceforth, due to the increasing number of people who have ventured into betting as a means of survival because of the alarming unemployment rate in the country.

According to Wendy Shay, celebrities are normal human beings who have private lives and can’t be treated differently from other citizens who go about their normal businesses.

However, she has threatened to take the Food and Drugs Authority and the Gaming Commission to a Human Rights court to seek redress on why celebrities have been banned by the aforementioned government regulators.

”GH Celebs can we put our differences aside and fight the system ?? I guess we don’t know how powerful we are …Well I’m taking the FDA and Gaming commission to the Human Rights Court
Celebs are also Ghanaians and deserve better !!
Ghana wake Up !!” she tweeted.
