‘I get motivation through my fans’ – Shatta Wale on DW TV

Ghanaian dancehall King, Shatta Wale has once again as acknowledged the role of his fans in his career; and according to him, they give him the motivation to keep on excelling.

During a recent interview on German Television station Deutsche Welle TV, Shatta Wale who is putting Ghana on the map spoke about how difficult it is, doing music as a business in Ghana. 

But to him, his Shatta Movement fans get excited anytime he rises. Hence, he is doing all he can to rise as high as he can because this will make the fans happy.  

Shatta Wale also spoke about his famous ‘Already’ feature with American superstar Beyoncé. 

He explained that this feature opened him up to seeing how business-minded the whites are; to go as far looking for talents outside their jurisdiction to work with.

And to him, he prays that other artistes get that opportunity since there are also very good artistes in Ghana. 

Shatta Movement fans have been touted as the most loyal fandom in Ghana as they are very committed and dedicated to anything Shatta Wale is associated with.
