Sometime in July 2020, as part of her humanitarian leadership skills of supporting her people through the little way she can, Mrs Chigabatia donated assorted types of Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s) to the people of Builsa North and some part of Builsa South District.

Facilities in the two Districts, which includes Chuchuliga, Wiaga, Sandema District Hospital, Sandema Senior High school, and Fumbisi Clinics, Christ the King Catholic Church, Sandema and Technical School were all beneficiaries of the PPEs.

Asking why she took such humanitarian step,
Mrs Chigabatia stated that, it is her responsibility to support her government in power and also to take care of her people during any difficult circumstance no matter how little the support might be.

According to her, the items worth about Seven Thousand Five Hundred Ghana Cedis ( Gh¢7, 500.00) which she procured for her people, was as a result of her children and family support.

However, aside the health facilities that received additional quantities of disposable face masks and examination gloves, all beneficiaries received gallons of liquid soap, hand tissue papers, various quantities of reusable face masks, Veronica Buckets, and face shields for the Clergy.

Meanwhile, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at Chuchuliga, Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church at Wiaga and Christian Mothers Associations at Fumbisi, Kanjaga, Gbedema and Siniesi were all beneficiaries.

However, Catholic Priest at the Fumbisi Parish Reverend Father Michael Okyere, who received the items on behalf of the church, expressed satisfaction as he thanked Mrs Chigabatia for her kind gesture.

On the hand, the Health Administrator of the Sandema District Hospital Prosper Asandam was grateful to the former MP for the humanity exhibited in supporting the District to fight the virus, and said the items would augment service delivery across health facilities in the two Districts.
