Ghanaian traditional music composer, Albert Apoozore aka King Ayisoba has revealed that he smokes weed every time he’s ready to climb a stage to perform because of the type of music he does.
The widely travelled International artiste in an interview with Okyeame Quophi on Accra-based radio station Angel FM explained that music is more spiritual and he always needs to connect in the spirit before he performs hence the use of ”amnesia”.
The Bolgatanga based artiste to the amazement of the host and others present in the studio confidently argued that everyone in Ghana knows that he smokes weed and no one can doubt the fact that he does good music.
King Ayisoba rose to fame somewhere in 2006 when his biggest song ”I want to see you, my father” dominated almost every radio and TV shows in addition to weddings and other public gatherings.
He has since travelled across the globe to perform his music which is relatively ”alien” to the rest of the world, putting mother Ghana on the map. Kindly watch his interview in the video below.
