I used to pay people to insult me for popularity – Akuapim Poloo confesses

In life, everything we want comes at a cost and it was no different for actress and choreographer Akuapim Poloo. 

The now popular slay queen, Akuapim Poloo has confirmed during an interview on Kofi TV that she indeed paid people money to insult her so that she could become popular. 

Known in real life as Rosemond Brown, Akuapim Poloo revealed that it cost her GHC 300.00 a week for six months to get to where she has gotten to now because she wanted to be popular at all cost.

She added that family and friends still wonder how she made it this big because she wasn’t popular during her “good girl” days. But since she became loud, she has risen to fame. And for her, it has helped her career because she now gets invited to places where ordinarily she won’t have been called to.
