Ghanaian award winning dancehall king Shatta Wale has told his colleagues in the industry not to feel intimidated, but go for what they feel is rightfully theirs.
In a post on Facebook, the “Gringo” hitmaker explained that he lived a poor life when he was the “respectful type” and that was during his Bandana days.
But after he “formatted” and came back as Shatta Wale, he has made so much money despite the fact that he’s being tagged as a “disrespectful” artiste. And as a result, people also see him as a threat.
He wrote “I use to respect everyone in the industry when I was Bandana
And they took me for granted and I lived a very poor life ..
But as I changed I made enough money than any many of my colleagues who now see me as a threat cuz they still have that notion at the back of their minds that if you don’t respect you won’t go on.”
