‘African Woman’ singer, Becca, has stated that she will waste no time in renegotiating a deal with Zylofon Music if their CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) bounces back.
Nana Appiah Mensah found himself in hot waters after business went bad; the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission were on his next for not having the required license to operate his Menzgold Business. Hence, the Police secured a court order to close his businesses and seize his property.
Becca who signed to Zylofon Music on a two-year deal said that even though her contract has ended, she will not shun another opportunity to work with the label.
During an interview on 3FM Drive Giovani Caleb, she said: “Yes why not? We were signed onto Zylofon…NAM1 naturally believed in the creative arts and he put a lot of resources in there. I am an artiste; I will sign to a record label that was taking care of all of us.
“If he comes back again, and we negotiate and we sit down, and it works, good, if it doesn’t, fine.”
Meanwhile, Becca spoke on how she sees issues surrounding the Menzgold saga, Becca said; “NAM1 is a good man and at the right time, he will clear his name”.
“If anybody knew NAM1, you’ll know he is a very good man. He was my friend, not just a friend, my boss and a friend. It’s unfortunate some of these things happened, but whatever the situation is, I believe the right judgment will be out,” Becca stated.
Becca is currently promoting her new single titled ‘Driving License’ which she did with SM boss, Shattawale.
