Artiste signed under OGB Records, Fameye has responded to Awal Mohammed after he took to social media to call him a fraud for failing to show up for a video shoot.
Awal explained that he recorded a song with Fameye and both of them agreed to shoot a video for the song titled ‘Akuapem Poloo’.
According to Awal, Fameye and his management demanded an initial amount of GHC 2000 before he features in the video. However, but he (Awal) spoke with him and the ‘Nothing I get’ hitmaker requested for what he could afford.
Awal added that his manager sent Fameye an initial amount of GHC 400 a day before the video shoot for T&T; something that got Fameye angry. He (Fameye) actually called back and spoke rudely to him asking why he would send such an amount to a big brand like him.
Due to feedback, Fameye was given an additional GHC 100, but failed to show up on the day of the video shoot. The worst of it is that they haven’t communicated back to him (Awal) hence his call on Zylofon FM’s Sammy Flex to five days after to help settle the matter.
Fameye who is currently out of the country has responded by telling Sammy Flex that he is no longer willing to be part of the song. So he would refund Awal’s GHC500 so Awal can take his voice off the song.
But Awal is not taking back the money until Fameye agrees that he’ll pay for the damages he has caused him (Awal) and his management team.
