Ghanaian award winning reggae and dancehall artiste, Samini has stated that he is too young to be the next President of the musicians union of Ghana.
Buttressing his point, Samini disclosed that he feels that he is need on stage more for now than the office of MUSIGA President.
He said “I think I’m too young for that. In Obour’s case, I think he had done what he needed to do on stage and he was ready to give up the stage for office. I think the stage needs me more than the office at the moment”.
Samini was speaking during an interview on Class FM on Thurday, March 14, 2019.
In a separate interview with online media outfit, YEN, he took the opportunity to clarify rumors that Kofi Kinaata had abandoned his record label.
Several media houses reported that Kofi Kinaata, after getting the mileage and fame with the help of Samini and the record label, decided to leave the team.
But Samini has refuted the reports, stating categorically that “Kofi Kinaata did not leave High Grade”.
