Reagan Mends, former manager of deceased Ghanaian Dancehall/Hiplife artiste Terry Bonchaka, has disclosed how his late artiste at one time advised Okomfour Kwadee to quit smoking weed before he died.
He was speaking during a recent interview on Hot FM when he addressed Kwadee’s current state.
A picture of Okomfour Kwadee went viral some days ago; and Reagan Mends says that the Kwadee’s current state is really embarrassing.
Speaking further, he stated that the late Terry Bonchaka was close friends with Kwaadee; and once advised him to minimize or stop his smoking habit. However, Kwadee failed to take the advice.
Reagan recounted that this encounter took place in 2003 when Kwadee and the late Terry Bonchaka were both at Ho Polytechnic for a performance. And on their way back to Accra, they all sat in Kwadee’s red BMW car as Kwadee began smoking heavily.
He further recounted how Terry even threatened to report Kwadee to the next police station which Terry did. However, Kwadee was lucky as the police thought it was a prank; hence, they laughed over it and asked them to continue their journey.
He also stated that apart from the fact that Kwadee smokes, he also takes alcohol. And it adds up to worsen his current plight.
