Israel Laryea gets the prank of his life as Giovanni Caleb makes him disclose how much he charges to host international shows


Every human being, no matter who you are, would definitely get excited at the opportunity to make some cool cash from a deal. And it gets more exciting when you are selling your skill for that amount.

In a video making the rounds on social media, 3FM drive host Giovanni Caleb, in a prank call, has been able to get celebrated broadcast journalist and former TV3 news anchor, Israel Laryea to disclose how much he charges to host international shows. 

Media General’s TV3 is celebrating 22 years of existence. And considering the role Israel Laryea played in helping establish TV3 as a stronghold in the media landscape, he needed to be part of the celebrations in one way or the other. 

Giovanni, posing as a staff from the “Year of return” Secretariate didn’t find difficulty in convincing Israel that his services was needed for an international show as part of the Year of Return. He wanted to know how much it would cost the secretariate to get him onboard. 

Israel, sounding positive about the deal, mentioned $5,000 after all expenses paid.
