It’s one year since Ebony Reigns died. Here’s all you need to know

   The Late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng 

February of 2018 was a sour month for everyone who had something to do with the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng popularly known as Ebony Reigns or her brand. 

She lost her life on her way back to Accra from Sunyani after she had visited her Mum who was also visiting Ghana from the UK. 

The late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns died in the Accident together with 2 others; her close friend Franky Kuri and a Military man who doubled as her body guard Francis Atsu Vondee.

Per eye witness accounts, Ebony and the two others lost their lives on the night of February 8, 2018, after the Jeep in which they were traveling collided with an oncoming VIP bus, as the driver of the Jeep tried to avoid a heap of sand in their lane.

Her death plunged the whole of Ghana into a National mourning as she was the favorite of so many people for her talent, although many others criticized her way of dressing.

The first anniversary of the former Ruff Town Records fore bearer comes off tomorrow and it must be a really hard time for her family. 

May her gentle soul continue to Rest In Peace.
